Old World Northern Cardinal Glass Christmas Ornament

Description

They have traditionally been considered essential Christmas tree decorations because birds represent joy and happiness. During winter, glassblowers often sheltered wild birds in their workshops, where the sound of the gas flame encouraged the birds to sing. Once spring came, the birds were set free again.
