Warranty Policy

Warranty terms depend on the product and any written coverage offered for it. This page explains how to check coverage, request support, and care for your purchase.

Updated October 27, 2026

Check the warranty before buying

There is no single extended or lifetime warranty covering every product in this collection. Where a product has a written commercial warranty, its duration, covered components, responsible warrantor, geographic scope, and claim conditions are set out in that product’s warranty terms. Coverage for foliage, lighting, electrical components, and accessories may differ.

Read any warranty terms linked or supplied with the listing before ordering. If the listing refers to a warranty and you cannot find the written terms, email sales@fredschristmastrees.com with the product name or SKU. We will help you obtain a copy before purchase. A warranty advertised by another retailer or on another version of a product should not be assumed to apply to your order from Fred’s.

Delivery problems and the first 30 days

For an item that arrives damaged, faulty, incomplete, or different from your order, contact Fred’s promptly under the Refund and Returns Policy. You do not need to wait for a manufacturer’s warranty process before reporting a delivery problem to us.

The 30-day return-request window and any separate warranty period serve different purposes. The end of a change-of-mind return window does not, by itself, end a valid written warranty or other rights provided by law.

How to request warranty support

  1. Email sales@fredschristmastrees.com with your order number, product name, and SKU if available.
  2. Describe the fault, when it first appeared, and the setup or operating conditions.
  3. Include photos or a short video where useful, along with any product label, serial number, and written warranty you have.
  4. Keep the product and follow our next-step instructions before shipping it or arranging a repair.

We will help establish whether the next step is a return, replacement-part enquiry, or a claim under the applicable written warranty. Where the manufacturer handles a claim directly, we will explain that route and the information needed. The available remedy and timetable depend on the applicable terms and the nature of the fault.

Coverage limits and claim costs

Commercial warranties commonly distinguish a manufacturing fault from ordinary wear, accidental damage, misuse, unauthorized modification, incompatible power components, or incorrect storage. The actual written terms for your item determine the exclusions; this summary does not create additional exclusions.

Before asking you to ship an item or agree to a paid repair, we will explain the proposed process and any cost you would be responsible for. Do not incur shipping or repair costs in anticipation of reimbursement without confirming the arrangement.

Nothing on this page excludes or limits an implied warranty, statutory remedy, or other consumer protection that applicable law does not allow us to exclude. Any lawful, product-specific limitation must be read in its actual written context.

Setup, electrical use, and storage

Follow the instructions supplied with the item. Assemble tree sections on a stable, level surface and shape the branches gradually. Confirm the stated voltage, plug type, controller, and power-supply compatibility before connecting electrical products. Use indoor-only products indoors, keep within connection limits, and disconnect power before making adjustments.

Stop using electrical equipment if a plug, cable, controller, or transformer is damaged. Use only compatible replacements specified for the product. Do not immerse electrical items in water or attempt a repair that the instructions do not authorize.

Remove decorations before taking a tree apart. Let outdoor items dry, then store the product in a cool, dry place with cables protected from crushing. Keep the instructions, proof of purchase, and any warranty document together.
