Fraser Fir® Tree

Description

Our claim to America’s finest Christmas tree

The Fraser Fir brings a touch of Southern hospitality to Christmas decorating with a lifelike interpretation of a much-loved tree species. It recreates the natural tree’s outline, colour and fullness with striking accuracy. True Needle branches are moulded using natural Fraser fir branches as the model, with 40 different tip variations, more than on any other tree in the collection. The convincing foliage provides an elegant setting for memorable festive celebrations.

Natural appearance and characteristics

Widely considered the finest natural Christmas-tree species, Abies fraseri grows in the forests of North Carolina and nearby Appalachian states. Our Fraser Fir draws on this tree’s appearance. Dark-green needles with silver undersides reproduce its rich colour, while the organically shaped treetop follows the natural silhouette of farm-grown Fraser firs.

Product information

• True Needle foliage uses 40 different Fraser fir tip variations to create a more organic appearance. This varied branch detail gives the tree a convincing, lifelike finish rather than an overly uniform outline.
• Easy Plug incorporates the lighting connections inside the trunk, allowing illumination with a simple connection to a socket. This feature is offered on selected trees only; consult the product specifications for model-specific availability.
• Operate pre-fitted Twinkly LED lighting through the mobile app on your phone. Create and control light colours and complete lighting shows, or select from the available pre-programmed colour and pattern combinations.
• On unlit versions of this tree, Simple String ® technology makes adding your chosen lights convenient. Wrap a strand around each section, then connect the strands to the sockets in the central pole. Fasten them with sturdy ties of your choice. They can remain fitted for future seasons, including when the tree is dismantled for storage.
• Memory wire supports the semi-fluffed tips, helping them carry hanging ornaments. It also assists the branches in keeping their form, reducing the amount of fluffing needed when the tree is set up in later years.
